About This Talk

Recurrent urinary tract infections (UTIs) are a common yet often misunderstood condition affecting both women and men. This community health talk will cover the key aspects of recurrent UTIs — from understanding why they occur repeatedly, to recognising warning signs and knowing when to seek medical attention.The session will be conducted in both English and Chinese.

Dr. Jay Lim Kheng Sit

Urologist, URO Care

Dr. Jay Lim is a urologist with training in Singapore and Australia, with a focus on robotic, endourology, and minimally invasive surgery. He graduated in medicine from the University of Sydney and completed his urology training in 2017, followed by a robotic surgery fellowship at Macquarie University Hospital in 2022.

Dr. Lim is a Singapore-MIT Alliance for Research and Technology Innovation Fellow and has been involved in multiple AI and medical technology projects. He has secured 13 research grants and published in international journals. He also holds teaching appointments across Singapore’s medical schools.

This is a public community health education event organised by Mountbatten Community Club and URO Care by Dr. Jay Lim.
