When should I see a urologist?
With a few exception, peeing is a necessary and daily occurence. Solving your urinary issues improves your lives daily. You should see a urologist if you experience symptoms (especially when they are new or worsening) such as:

- blood in the urine
- disruption to your lifestyle like urinary urgency
- frequency
- waking up more than once to pee nightly
- or slow urinary stream
Individuals with a history of kidney disease in your family, who are smokers or have other risk factors, should also consider doing a thorough urology check. Men above the age of 50 should visit a Urology as prostate issues are inevitable as we age. Regular and early attention prevents expensive intervention later on.
How soon can I get an appointment?
We offer appointments within 24 hours on Mondays to Fridays and on Saturday mornings.
How should I prepare for my visit?
Urinary issues are very private and personal, rest assure we will take every care to be sensitive and protect your privacy. So bring along an open mind and bring along any previous medical reports, scans, and blood test reports for your appointment.
Is a referral required to see a urologist?
No, you do not need a referral to see a urologist.
How long will a urology screening take?
Please set aside 2 hours for a screening medical appointment, which will give your urologist sufficient time to explain the test results to you thoroughly.
If you travelling from overseas, you are recommended to plan for 3 to 5 days in Singapore for most simple surgeries. This allows sufficient time for investigations to be completed. You are welcome to visit Singapore during your stay here.
